Diane Raver & Lauren Concar Sheehy

Diane Raver has enjoyed a long history in film as producer and director. She began her career in New York City in the commercial film business. In 1987, Ms. Raver became the first woman president of a commercial production company in New York City when she founded The Madison Group In 1998 she and her family relocated to the Jersey Shore where she co-founded The Garden State Film Festival (GSFF) with actor Robert Pastorelli which will celebrate its 20th Anniversary in Asbury Park in 2022.

Ms. Raver was awarded the Alice Guy Blache Award, the New Jersey Moviemakers Network Award for Excellence, the Mt. Ida College Distinguished Alumni Award an honorary degree by Brookdale Community College for her commitment to the arts community.

A 4th generation resident of Sea Girt, Ms. Raver also serves as the Assistant Treasurer of the Holly Club of Sea Girt.

Lauren Concar Sheehy is a creative problem solver and change-agent who makes significant positive and high-impact contributions as a member of a team. Concar serves as the Executive Director of the Garden State Film Festival (GSFF). As a filmmaker with a long, passionate history in the Television and Film industry Lauren has written, produced, directed and edited many award-winning projects for high profile clients. In addition, she is a senior video production specialist and professional makeup artist with numerous credits to her name. Lauren is the first woman to manage Brookdale TV, a production company and cable channel operated by Brookdale Community College that broadcasts to over 626,351 homes locally.
Over the years, Concar has demonstrated a commitment to the communities through extensive research, workshops, panel discussions and community outreach programs. Lauren builds programs that make New Jersey a state where under-served communities and diverse populations have equal access to arts programming.
