* During the first week of classes, a local, community-based physician will be assigned to each student, to act as their mentor.
* Clinical rotations will occur within the State of New Jersey in all instances, helping our students to begin building a relationship with the hospital systems and physicans currently caring for New Jersey residents.
* Upon graduation, each student will be encouraged to make a commitment to the State of New Jersey with a promise to practice for at least five (5) years within the state.
* So many times, New Jersey is seen as a hub to the Philadelphia and New York City. MCOM will focus on the saying "In New Jersey, for New Jersey" - and will stand by all that this means.
* MCOM will offer and will encourage participation in supportive programs for students who need additional work to gain admissions to medical school.
* Offering full academic and clinical resources to our affiliated hospitals in program development, research, research grants and to community health in order to encourage a large, communicative response and active participation from as many local hospitals as possible.
