Cardinale Enterprises is led by Vito F. Cardinale, and his partners, operating out of Red Bank, New Jersey.

To date, Cardinale Enterprises has developed a portfolio of over 2,000 acres of commercial and residential real-estate in New York, and manages more than 200,000 square feet of commercial property in New York and New Jersey. Our portfolio includes open-air shopping centers, office, and medical space in an environment that focuses on architectural design and landscape. The company is currently planning the development, construction and management of an additional 400,000 square feet of commercial space in the tri-state area, including a Medical School and a new shopping center.

Cardinale Enterprises is working on their two most impressive projects to date, one of them being, Barnegat Crossings. The Barnegat Crossings site is located directly off of the newly opened Exit 67 off of the Garden State Parkway in Barnegat, New Jersey. The site will feature over 100,000 square feet of restaurant, recreation, retail and medical/office space and open air common area space, with a “real-life” replica of the Barnegat Lighthouse, filling the nights and weekends with live entertainment and vibrancy. The project will feature a 100,000 square foot inline building with three freestanding pads, along with state-of-the-art parking areas and landscaping. Cardinale has been working diligently with potential tenants, and leasing for the center has begun. The design team for the project was rigorously handpicked and their professionalism and knowledge will shine through on this project. The intricate and unique architecture and finishes will help Barnegat Crossings redefine the local coastal areas of the Southern New Jersey region, all while providing the locals everything they could need in a shopping center.

History and Corporate Structure:

Since establishing Cardinale Enterprises in 1983, Vito F. Cardinale has successfully steered the growth of the company. The firm has expanded its expertise in the packaging of real estate transactions for third-party development by undertaking the construction of commercial properties for its own real estate portfolio. Nearly five years ago, Cardinale Enterprises relocated its base of operations from Staten Island, N.Y., to Red Bank, N.J., and began focusing on the development of premier mixed-use community centers in New Jersey. The founders’ entrepreneurial spirit and progressive vision has become a blueprint for the firm’s continuing success.

Cardinale employs a talented staff of in-house professionals who are driven by a passion for quality and a dedication to performance. The management team has more than 100 years of combined experience in the industry. Cardinale Enterprises also has formed joint venture partnerships with companies who are leaders in their industries. 

Foundation and Philosophy:

Community Involvement:

Mr. Cardinale is a philanthropist whose recent generous donation to CentraState Hospital in Freehold, N.J., supported the construction of the Linda E. Cardinale MS Center. The newly-opened center provides diagnosis and continuing care for patients with Multiple Sclerosis. 

Executive Bio:

Vito Cardinale, founder and president, has been the driving force behind the extraordinary growth of the company since its inception in 1983. He serves as a guide for the continued expansion of his organization and remains involved in all aspects of the business. Mr. Cardinale, a graduate of Brooklyn Technical HS in 1977, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial and Mechanical Engineering from the City University of New York.

Mr. Cardinale has held positions as President, Vice President and Board Member for various organizations, such as Rotary International, various local Chambers of Commerce, YMCA and Rainbows Hope, and is currently a Circle of Friends Member at the CentraState Health Foundation, namely for his contributions to the building and development support of the Linda E. Cardinale Multiple Sclerosis Center. He is a life member of Safari Club International and also a member of Ducks Unlimited, The Foundation of North American Wild Sheep, The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation and other various sporting organizations throughout the world.

Under his direction, Cardinale Enterprises has evolved into a full-service real estate development company.
